99 Days of a Training is a 99-part series that I will document my daily progress towards my first marathon. Each day I plan on recognizing a word or phrase that corresponds with that day’s training. This series will conclude on May 6th, 2012 when I toe the start line (or somewhere in the back of the pack) at the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati, OH.
Oh what a feeling!
First off, SPRING IS HERE!
Now back to the regularly scheduled post…
So today I hit the road again for my first real run in a few weeks. Despite the family being on spring break (thus meaning I don’t have to wake up as early), I woke up at 6:30 to get rolling. A bit over 6 miles later I was feeling much more excited about the future than I had been.
Things still aren’t perfect from the doctor, but I have some follow-ups next week. Hopefully things will get better but until then I will keep running and preparing for my half-marathon next weekend and my full marathon coming up in 46 days.
