February was an awesome month! Going into this month my best month was back in September where I logged 83.7 miles. I thought that was a ton back then! I had no clue what I was in for though. In my first full (can you say full when it is only 29 days?) month of marathon training I logged 117.5 miles. That blew away everything.
At this point last year I had logged a total of 61.9 for the year. I put in more than that in January (64.9). I’m already at 182.4 miles on the year, something I didn’t accomplish last year until JUNE. WOW. I could possibly hit 1k on the year… may not push myself that hard, but to do so I’d only have to average 83 1/2 per month, and so far I’m at 91.2.
March is looking to be a good month… I have 178 miles scheduled, though I don’t think I’ll come to close to that. For one, I have a 20 miler scheduled on March 31st, but instead I will be running a half marathon…. not just A half marathon, but one of the most beautiful half marathon’s in the country.
